I am a junior at SUNY Oneonta studying Fashion and Textiles, concentration in Merchandising, a minor in Communication Studies. I am planning to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology for the 3+1 fashion degree program 2023-2024 to study advertising, marketing, and communication studies. I am passionate about the fashion industry and will soon gain expertise in five fashion degree concentrations: merchandising, textiles, marketing, communications, and advertising.
I enjoy being involved on campus, like working at the student-run thrift store as well as the fashion student society. In addition, I am a part of Sigma Delta Tau sorority. I have held many leadership positions in this sorority including philanthropy chair and well as the current president. I am an extremely organized, ambitious person and have a great deal of experience in a leadership position. While in my presidency I have obtained valuable skills like effective communication and time management. Some technical skills include PowerPoint, Outlook Teams, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe Photoshop, and sewing. I am currently seeking an internship for summer 2023 within the fashion industry, specifically merchandising.
